Dr Garth Dallas is a legal, governance, business and sustainability adviser with experience spanning the private, public and voluntary sectors. He works with businesses, charities, CICs, social enterprises and public sector organisations, helping them navigate complexity, strengthen governance, manage risk and achieve sustainable success.

As Founder and Director of Dallas Consulting, Garth provides strategic advisory support across governance, leadership, organisational development, employment and people matters, sustainability, dispute resolution and business growth. His approach combines practical commercial insight with a strong understanding of governance, legal frameworks and responsible business practice.

Garth's experience extends beyond consultancy. He serves as a Non-Executive Director at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust, where he has held leadership responsibilities across equality, diversity and inclusion, international development, people and organisational culture, and sustainability. He is also Chair of the Liverpool Commonwealth Association and has held trustee and advisory roles across a range of charitable, educational and community organisations.

These include being a trustee of Alder Hey Children’s Charity, the charity for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital; an Advisory Board member of the University of Liverpool’s Centre for Sustainable Business; and an Advisory Board member of The African Business Chamber, a support organisation for UK-based African businesses.

He holds a PhD from Liverpool John Moores University, where his research focused on sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems, blended value creation and the role of business as a force for economic, social and environmental good. His work has contributed to the development of new thinking around sustainability, governance and purpose-driven enterprise.

Garth believes that organisations create their greatest value when strong governance, effective leadership and clear strategy work together. His focus is on helping clients make informed decisions, strengthen organisational resilience and build long-term success.

Whether supporting a growing SME, a charity board, a social enterprise or a public sector organisation, his goal remains the same: to help organisations move from reacting to challenges to proactively shaping their future.
