2. What information we collect

• When you download a free resource: your name and email address, and whether you've agreed to receive emails from us.

• When you buy a product: your name, email address, what you bought, the price paid and the date. Your payment is handled by our payment processors, so we never see or store your full card details.

• When you contact us: your name, contact details and what you tell us.

• When you visit our store: our store platform (Stan) and payment processors may collect technical information such as your device, browser and how you use the page. Their own privacy and cookie policies explain this.

3. How we use it, and our legal basis

To process your order, deliver your product and send emails about your purchase. We do this to perform our contract with you.

To keep order and payment records. We do this to meet our legal obligations, including tax and accounting.

To answer your questions and handle complaints. We do this because of our legitimate interest in looking after our customers.

To improve our products and keep our store secure. We do this because of our legitimate interest in running and developing our business.

To send you tips, news and offers by email. We do this with your consent, or, if you’ve bought from us, because of our legitimate interest in telling you about similar products. You can opt out at any time.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it to make automated decisions about you.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your information with organisations that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

• Stan (our online store platform)

• Stripe and PayPal (payment processing)

• Our accountants and professional advisers

• HMRC and other authorities, where the law requires it

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Stan and Stripe, are based in or process data in the United States. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the protections UK law requires, such as the UK–US data bridge or approved data transfer agreements.

6. How long we keep it

• Order and payment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year of purchase, as required for tax and accounting.

• Email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep only a record that you opted out, so we don't email you again.

• Enquiries and complaints: up to 2 years after we last hear from you.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;

• ask us to correct information that's wrong;

• ask us to delete your information, where we don't need to keep it;

• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;

• ask for your information in a portable format; and

• withdraw your consent at any time, including by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email.

8. Keeping your information safe

We use reputable service providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Children

Our products are designed for business owners and managers. They are not intended for anyone under 18.

10. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
